The Fernie Ski Trip

Well let me tell you last weekend...probably the funnest weekend i have ever had in a long time!! The company Clayton works for decided to take whoever wanted to go to Fernie, BC skiing for the weekend as their xmas present...the people he works for are probably the best people you could ever ask to work for..seriously!! anyways we left Thursday morning at 6 in the morning..kinda early but not to bad..me and Clayton got to ride up with Nick and Trina, Rachelle and Corey and Dustin and Lacey..probably the best vehicle to ride up in..wow did we have a blast and having Dustin Lawson in your vehicle you couldn't ask for a better ride there..lol!! he was drinking right away spiced rum none the less so everyone was drinking and having a good time..Trina had a big permanent marker and Dustin was getting right drunk so we said the first person to pass out gets drawn on..so he passed out so Clayton drew like a hitler mustache on him it was so funny but than when he woke up Rachelle gave him a wet one to wash his hands and for some reason the drunk guy decides to wash his face too...well to anyone who didnt' know a wet one takes off permanent marker!! it sucked!!Well anyways we decided to start playing drinking games...we started by dividing up the vehicles some for the guys and some for the girls..lets just say the girls ended up getting the worst of the deal..than we switched it up to that fun game...Whats the name of that fucking game...so we all had to choose a fuck name and wow it got pretty funny with the people we had in the vehicle...and lets just say for the record...i kick ass at the game...they were all trying to gang up on me cuz i just wouldn't mess up!! it was awesome...that we decided to pick a song and do and airband to it when we got to the cabins..so we picked the fraggle rock song so we were all trying to sing and drunk...it was a good time...than we got to the cabins everyone went to there cabin and got settled than we went over to the main one to eat pizzas and drink some more...well both cabins had kick ass hot tubs in them...mine and Claytons room had a door leading out to the hot tub..our own bathroom and a sauna downstairs...it was frickin sweet..so we ate and drank and played crokeno and went in the hot tub..we were over at our hot tub later on and all of a sudden Dustin Lawson..who suprisingly was not passed out dead yet..lol came running onto our deck NAKED and said canon ball and jumped in..it was so funny...lets just say between asses and dick o and of course "tucking" i got some pretty funny and memorable pictures between Lawson, Rick Hudson and Corey Kitz...lol but come on without people like that our weekend would have been boring!! Well than after a while it was bed time...
So we woke up at like 8 on Friday..the first day of skiing...we had our lessons at 9..well my ski boots weren't there so i was getting a little scared but than she showed up just at the last minute so i was able to make it to my lessons...which ive skiied before but not since grade 9 so i was a little rusty..needed to be refreshed on how to stop and turn..lol kinda the important stuff so the lessons were helpful and everyone who worked there had an aussie accent which is so sweet cuz i love people with aussie accents..its kinda sexy..but these guys didn't really have the looks so it didn't pan out...lol..any who Clayton was snowboarding and i was skiing so he was taking lessons to which suprisingly for him not doing anything remotely close to it before he was doing awesome..so after the lessons we met up and went down the easy courses the first day to warm up..it was fun..there was this guy running one of the ski lifts who was kinda cute and was hitting on me right when Clayton was right there...i found that so funny!! but any who Friday was such a nice and beautiful day for skiing like i mean we were sheading layers it was so warm we were sweating so much it was way better than freezing!! so after the day of skiing and such we went home and all soaked in the hot tub..you know to give the old muscles a good soak and than we ad awesome hamburgers...from Davis Meats in Alameda...just if anyones wondering...lol and drank some more and did some more hot tubbing...this was kinda of a more mellow night due to the extensive drinking the night before...lol so everyone was kinda in bed a little earlier
Saturday we woke up and were on the slopes at 9:30ish and this day we went out with Nick and Trina, Sheri and Todd and Roger and Corey and Rick...just incase you don't know these guys are alot more experienced than me and Clayton so they wanted to take us up to the top of the mountain..which i was so scared but didn't want to sound like a puss so i went...well the chair lift up there..lets just say wow...next time i think i have balls...im going to reconcider..hehehe..anyways they took us up to the top which when i got up there there was no regrets...the view...amazing..wow..everyone should experience it...they took us on the blue trails which weren 't that steep and alot easier so it was actually way better than i had imagined..so we kept on going up to the top..it was awesome and wow Clayton was doing so good by the end of the day he was making it down the hills without falling which is awesome...and must i add he looked frickin HOT snowboarding....wow!! hehehe....but anyways..the weather that day was a little crappier than the first...it basically rained all day but it wasn't like it was cold it was still pretty nice out for raining but it was so cool it was raining at the bottom but once we got to the top of the mountain it was snowing!! it was so cool!!! anyways after the last day of skiing we went back and got all ready and sat in the hot tub again..nothing beats a long day of skiing adn yoru muscles are so sore after and than soaking in the hot tub...we had kick ass steaks and baked potatoes adn salads and stuff for supper that night and than we all got a little crazy drunk again for our last night there...it was so much fun..
Now sunday came and we had to wake up at 5 so we were on the road by 6 so it was a pretty rough morning for few especially Nick who sprawled out in the back of the suburban the whole ride home and was drinking alot of water..hehe..so everyone basicaly slept the whole way home in and out...and it was shitty weather leaving BC it was snow storming you could barely see..it was kinda scarey going around all the curves and hills when its icy..than once we hit alberta and saskatchewan it was just rain all the rest of the way home..we got to stop at Burger King for dinner on the way home..which is the best fast food place ever..pretty pumped about that...we made good time on the way home and i was so excited to go home cuz i had been away from Jordan for like 4 nights!! thats crazy! so we got home and left right away for alameda to my moms house for supper and to see her..she was sleeping when i got there...but of course me being me had to wake her up..come on i wanted to see her so bad...lol but anyways...thats the story of my amazing weekend..o and i guess i could add in the second day i did a couple good wipe outs..one i almost gave sheri a heart attack i was sliding and if it wasn't for the orange fence around the edge of the hill i would of went over a cliff..lol and than my last run i did a pretty funny one where i ripped my pants right in the crotch...lol it was awesome fun though and i can't wait to go again!!
